Padme''s Story:

On Tuesday morning Padme' was acting just fine, then that afternoon, she just wasn't hungry, if you know Lab's, they are always hungry.  She was drinking lots of water, more than normal, and going outside to use the bathroom.  Wednesday night, she was having trouble sleeping, I noticed she was going outside alot, it has been a little hotter here than normal and so I just thought it was because it was a little cooler outside than in the house.

I followed her out at one point and noticed she had been vomiting, still not eating, and not really wanting to get up and walk much at all.  So I called the Vet and they said to bring her in right away.  I was told she had kidney failure, the doctor said it can just happen with no warning with dogs her age, but we are lucky because we brought her in early enough he said.  Currently she is under doctors care and We want to give her any chance we can give her to fight this.

We need to get her to eat, and get electrolites in her, just to see if it is an infection or worse.  it is going to cost us $2000, right now, but the doctor said that there is only so much they can do in the current hospital she is in, and may need to go to a 24hr. Specialist Center, which would cost us approx. $1500 a day.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

All Chances complete 30 days after they are first Submitted for Verification by the Pet Owner. The reason they end at all is because credit card refunds must be issued if the funds cannot be raised and, therefore, the treament will not be provided.

So, if a Chance will not be fulfilled by a doctor/provider within 30 days, the money must be refunded to the people who made donations.

Shortly before the Chance completion date Pet Chance will try to work with the doctor/provider to see if the treatment can be fulfilled with partial funding.

Our goal is to fullfil as many Chances as possible!

We call it Pet Care Assurance...

At Pet Chance, our goal is to empower pet owners to make the right decisions for their pets. By funding Chances where owners have already incurred debt we are giving the next owner facing that daunting decision confidence to provide their pet with the care it needs.

The more Chances where treatment was already provided to get funded, the more likely it is owners (and vets) will make the right medical decision first, and handle the financial obligation after the fact.

We encourage you to support the work we do to help pets and their owners so we can continue to run PetChance.org.

Our world-class customer service and national impact has honored us with Top Nonprofit awards from Great NonProfits. We can only do this thanks to your generous contributions!
